Hello All

Hello and greetings from Cleveland Ohio. I am new to this forum and would just like to start out by saying hi and hope you all have a very good holiday this year!

I started in this hobby with my first freshwater tank about 16 years ago. About 5 years into it I started a 120 gallon reef with my buddy when worked at a local giant fish store. Did several different marine setups over the years then quit the hobby for awhile. I just started back into marine tanks about 7 months ago. I started out small with some equipment I had as well as buying live sand and fiji live rock for the setup. I have a 29 gallon with about 30 pounds of rock and 30 pounds of Carribsea sand. I am running a Aquaclear Aquatics protein skimmer, A Fluval 203 cannister filter, and 2 Maxi-Jet 400 powerheads. I need new lighting as I only have 48 watts in it. I have 1 Psycodelic Mandarin Goby (which feeds well on blood worms and mysis shrimp, and gets fed pods), 1 Peppermint shrimp, 4 blue legged hermits, about 30 Nassarius snails, and several Red Mushroom Polyps and some sort of Ricordea that was given to me on a frag.

Hopefully I can help some people out on here and appreciate any help I may get from anyone on here. Take care.

Anyway, welcome to RC. Lot's of great info here, just have to search. I will tell you to get rid of the hair algae before it get's out of control. Looks like it's taking over the bottom middle of the tank.

:D The first step is to remember to almost never take anything serious in the lounge! If you can do that you'll fit right in.
