I have a 150 gallon tank with lots of live rock, I have a specific rock that contains mushrooms and also some mushroom looking coral, It also did contain zoanthids but my humpnose butterfly ate them, my question is where the zoanthids were there is a cocoon looking stuff with little holes in it growing all over the rock and now it is starting to branch out on to other rocks, I was just wondering what this might be, can anyone help?

But im not if you know want you want . A reef tank or a FOWLR tank.

your right its a very branchy sponge, thanks for your help.

Remove the frag and then with a tooth pic or similar remove it. You can dip at same time in freash water to help.
