im in college so im not rolling in money. i want a new tank because my 20g is too small. i have a limited space and literally just purchased 24" t-5 ligthing last week when the ballast went on my pc's.
i would like a 40g 24*24*16 but anything bigger thats 24" long would be wonderful. cant be too deep though.
so my question is...

Where can i find one at a reasonable price?
How hard would it be to make myself(no real knowledge with acrylic or glass)
Does anyone have one willing to sell or trade for somethign?
Will a local glass shop or acrylic shop have the best price?

thanks, i appreciate any help i can get.
have a good one

Check the buy/sell forums here. I bought a 290 acrylic for $100 from a fellow RC member.
I wouldn't make it yourself. It will cost more than buying used.

I've got a 24x24x18 rimless starphire I might be selling in a few weeks. I am NYC...just a few hour drive!

I know there are the new Solana's from Current that are like 20x20x20. Lots of info on those around... There is also glasscages if you go custom, or more expensive options like Aquarium Obsessed.
