Is this sand ok

I have a 55g tank I am breaking down to set up a 125g. I plan to move everything from the 55g (water, sand, rock, etc) to the 125. But of course I am lacking more water and sand (already have 120lbs of LR). So what I am wondering is if I shift the sand and rinse it prior to putting it can I use Home depot play sand? I already have 60+lbs thats in the 55 so I will only need to add about 60lbs. Thanks.

This would be fine. But i would not rinse the SB you have now.Also depending on the condition of the SB , if its brown and unsifted could cause a high nitrate burst.

No I dont plan to rinse my seeded sand from the tank. And I have plenty of the snails that burrow into the sand (Nass. I think) so nitrate should be ok.
