its nice to be young and get a jump on the hobby. When I was growing up people rarely had FW tanks. Now there is at list 1 SW tank on every block.

got a 92g corner fresh for my 13th b-day. I kept a spotted gar in it. Once he outgrew the tank i switched it to SW. That was about 9 months later. So i started reef right around 14. I'm 16 now

Impressive. I bought my 14 year old brother a FW tank. It sat for 8 months with no fish before my mom tore it down.... He could not handle a reef tank, no way.

this hobby has been so expensive ive spent all my savings in 3 months

I spent half my savings in one month. I take my a little bit from each paycheck and use that for my reef the rest goes to my savings.

Skunk cleaner shrimp
Striped Cleaner wrasse

Bubble-tip anemone

It's not only nice to start the hobby young, but also to realize that your not the only one...

My CB has never touched a coral (knock on wood) All corals are doing great. I have never had anything die in my tank except a pistol shrimp that was half dead when I got it because the guy at the lfs fw dipped it for 5min to get it out of a rock.

You guys have great tanks and it nice to see young reefers.

My son who is eleven also keeps a 12 gallon.He started three Christmases ago and does water changes off my system.

You all should be proud.
