I am making the transition to stony corals.

I have this metallic green frogs pawn which has gotten huge, and it cant take all the beating from the current wherever i have placed it.

i really want to keep it but it seems to get way to much current anywhere in the tank. I don't want to sacrifice flow because of this coral, but it is a definite keeper, (an octopus metallic green is what they called it at my LFS) it is my show piece softy which steal all the attention from everything else, it has split many times and gotten huge, about 1x1 foot square.

What would you do? should i get rid of it? It is getting whipped around anywhere i put it.

#1... It's a frogspawn.
#2.... It's not a 'softy' it's a LPS coral.

#3.... Frag it!!

have you tried different placements of your powerheads? or rearranging some rockwork to create a sheltered area? or you could use this as the ultimate excuse to get a bigger tank!!:)

Thanks for all the replies. I have tried moving my rocks, power heads, making a shelter, almost everything. I may have to frag it, but i really don't want to.
