20g sump baffles thickness?

I found some acrylic 1/8" and was wondering if it would be thick enough for a 20g sump I want to make?

Yep, just make sure its glued to the glass well, and you fill on both side of it, when you first fill it up. You dont want pressure building up on one side, but once its full there should be no problems at all.

I used 1/8th plexi on my old 30 gallon sump that was for my 75.

is there anyway to take my typhoon skimmer HOB and use it in a sump. Could i raise one baffle high enough to have the water high enough to use the Hang on back skimmer in my sump?
