Accidental punctured wound on a zoa will they be fine?

Well I was trying to frag some zoas and I might of punctured or slightly cut the polyp instead of the matt, will the zoas be ok?

9.9% of the time they will be fine. As long as the cut isn't too bad the polyp will usually heal itself.
