this is what i will be doing. i will first off cure the lr then place it in the 75 the way i want it which will be as close to natural looking as i possibly can. then i will cycle the water with shrimp btw i will not b putting sand in during this process. after all params are good i will do a 30% water change take out all the lr then rescape and add sand. once this is done i will wait probably 3-4 mths. i will only have one light haning over the 75gallon tank because the other one will be on the 29. after the 3-4 mths goes by then i will add the remaining water,lr,coral, fish from the 29gallon it should be pretty easy and the 75 is only steps from the 29 so the death toll should be low. then from there on out i will just be dosing daily with b-ionic 2 part and weekly water changes.

Sounds good. I would consider 250w MH depending on how deep the tank will be.

i would upgrade to the 250 but like it will look awkward if i do because i already have a 150watt on my 29 so if i got the same pendant on my 29 that is the 250 the dimentions are diffrent and it would look odd. n e ways here is a brief layout of how i want my tank to look like

????????????Is the drain for your sump on the bottom of the tank?

That's not going to be cool.

If you havent bought the tank yet, you may want to look into a 90 gallon. Same dimensions, just a bit taller. Also corner overflows work best in a tank of that size if you get that option.

I'm not sure 2 x 6045 are going to be enough flow in that tank.

it will be 2378 gph which is 30x turn over rate. also i really dont know to much about plumming so i have to read up and ask questions on it.
