Ok this just happened to me, and I would like to see if it has happened to anyone else. As I was testing my tank, the calcuim bottle tip flung off and I got some of the dops in my eyes. Man does that burn like ***L. Has anyone else ever did that, or am I just retard.

Flush your eyes real well, like 20 minutes. Some of the solutions are some pretty strong acid and you dont want to play around with your eyesight. If it keeps bothering you you should go see a doc or call poison control. Scarry stuff to get in the eyes.

Yeah I have been rinsing it out. I will take your idea and let the adults test from now on. LOL. I never ever want to g through with that pain ever again. That was almost as bad as the 3rd knee surgery I had 1 month ago.

Ditto. I work in an enviroment that takes chemical exsposure seriously. Rinse real real real good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It happened about an hour ago. My right is good. But my left feels like it has something in it so I keep rinsing more and more, It feels 90% better then it did at 7pm. Im glad it happened then me being a steelers fan I couldnt bear to watch the end LOL

Hope it's OK! It's hard to believe that a thread like this doesn't ever come up. (Might be that nobody wants to talk about it). I recently switched from Salifert to LaMotte ALK test kits and the warnings about the titrate really make you think. They even tell you to wear gloves! I recently started wearing reading glasses whenever I do tests just to avoid what you're going through.
