Flow question

I am going to be setting up a frag tank 24 x 24 x 12. It will be barebottom and will have a pvc frame with eggcrate for the frags. The return probably won't be very strong maybe a mag 5 or so but I want to use maxi-jet mods and was wondering how many I should use in a tank like this. It will be for SPS.

Wow even 1 MJ mod is going to be rocking in 30 gallons or so, mabe a couple koralia 2s??

I was planning on using a red sea wakemaker would the koralia's be ok being turned on and off? has anyone experimented with this?

Most of the frag tanks I see don't get so elaborate. You could probably save a lot of money and be just as effective just using one or 2 powerheads , plus you'll have a return.

Bad thing about a wavemaker on a Koralia is it'll make a lot of grinding noise with the motor turning off and on. If that doesn't matter then it might increase the Koralia life-span if it's just left on.
