whats the question... that tends to happen if its unhappy for some reason like during a move. If you take good care of it it can open back up.

Oh sorry there.
Q: Is there a way for me to make it bubble back up? i suspect is due to my poor skills of light acclimation. Its placement is in the middle.

Feed it mysis 3-4 times a week. In the middle will be ok, and keep your water prams correct.

You can feed it Mysis, and some Silversides ( Small ) Mine was like that when I move it around, it just needs to adapt to the environment in its new location. At each elevation in the tank, lighting, flow and many other factors could be a major change for it to respond immediately.

Bubble corals don't like a lot of flow, so you may need to put it in a more sheltered area.

Bubble corals bubble up by taking in water into the caral to give it the bubbles. Once they are added to a new tank the coral will shrivel up. How long the coral was acclimated for before it was placed into the tank, the lighting in the tank that you purcahsed it form and what lighting you have at home( halide), qater quality and water movement all are important things to look at.

If the coral didnt have halide lighting before you will have to adjust the coral to the lighting slowly to get used to the more intense light.
Like said above, Mysis, Freeze dried krill, squid, clam will work for food. The bubble coral likes medium to low flow and moderate lighting.
