My clowns have never shown the slightest interest in my RBTA. They've been living in a LTA for a couple of months, and nothing at all before that. The rose has been in my tank for 6 months or so, and for the first time today, I saw this:

Very nice picture. That clown looks like he is surrounded by little balled-up fists with one finger sticking up.

I fixed my little red house link, but it has nothing to do with my tank :)

My tank is not in a state that I'm particularly proud of (although it's a damn sight better than it was a few months ago), and I was just in there with the turkey baster blowing off some detritus, but I'll try to get a FTS in a little while after the water clears up. Josh will be able to vouch for the improvement over what it was the last time he was here.

It's 2x250 10Ks and 2x96w actinics. It's a cheap-*** Odyssea fixture, but it works OK.

The colors are always washed out when I shoot from far away, but you get the idea.

Nice, it looks like things have taken a turn for the better. What do you attribute the change to?

Clean those powerheads, and you're set ;)

Whats the coral on the bottom left sand?

Several things.

GFO, being diligent about blowing off detritus, moving my cheato to my sump where it can grow larger than it could in my HOB fuge, manual removal, improved skimming (although I'm still not happy here, and increased water change volume.

I still only have a grand total of 10 snails in the tank to keep things in check. I think getting a propper CUC will be the final nail in the coffin. I had 2 buyers on eBay buy laptops from me and then not pay for them, so the CUC will have to wait a bit longer.

On the far left is a large fungia, (****ed off in that picture after I hit it with my mag-float) and to the right of that is what was a small rock with GSP on it that has started growing across the sand.

Yeah, the hydor in particular looks bad. It needs a good soak in vinegar.

Is that the large 24" AquaFuge?

phurst

Yep, that's the one. It's the original, not the Aquafuge II like you have.

I was going to turn it into a prop section, but I've decided against it.

How about a remote DSB?

There is presently an 8is inch DSB in there, but it's so small, I doubt it's doing much.

There's currently a big tangled know of xenia in there. I've been considering using it for nutrient export, but I think I'd really just like to get rid of the HOB altogether.
