What is a good camera for diving. im looking for good quality pictures but still keep the price reasonable. All my diving is done mostly cold water (BC canada area) any ideas ? thanks

I use the olympus 720... Takes some good pics... Here are a couple in cold water....

I used canon s80 (around $500) and then got the underwater case ($200) and it worked nicely.

I shopped for the housing first and then got a strobe and camera for it. The housing can be the most expensive part, next is the strobe, then the camera. I found that with a standard digital camera that the "shutter lag" was causing a number of pictures of fish that turned to swim away in the picture. A lot more than with my film camera setup. The next one will be a digital slr setup.

The Olympus has 4 settings for underwater pictures....a great macro setting....that helps you avoid the slow shutter speed...
