good job did that end up costing less than buying new.

You should name that hermit crab Irony

arent those porcelain/anemone crabs great. does he hang out in one of your corals. ive found that to be the only pita with them

WOW!! Beautiful tank!! I have to say that you are pretty talented with construction.

How long did it take you from start to finish for the tank itself? How long has the tank been up and running?

Very well done :D
How thick is that glass?

Did you get that from a glass shop? Did they 'smooth' the edges of that glass before you got it? I ask this because, strangely enough, I'm doing the same thing.

I got mine from a local glass shop and they 'smoothed the edges and I'm concerned I won't have a good glass-glass connection.

Took me a few days to build the tank :) and a few days for the silicon to set! Its been set up for around 3 months now

the glass is 6mm thick, yeah they polished the sides and everythin is stickin ok

Beautiful tank. It puts tanks ten times as large to shame (including mine). Was the black silicone hard to find?

ooo yea, what kind of black silicone did you use? I'm guessing ATV? Someone said that using black gasket sealant works well too in reef tanks. I'm very curious now :D
