Just was wondering if there was anything else I needed(sump, another tank, etc.) to buy and set up an auto-topoff system on my 10g reef. And if there is any way that I could DIY a topoff system. Any advice is appreciated.

TIA

I bought my auto-top off from aquahub.com for about $35. For that price, I'm not sure why you'd want to go DIY, but I'm sure it can be done.

All you need is the float switch, an extension cord, a powerhead, some tubing (from power head to tank/sump) and something to hold the fresh water that you'll be using to top off.

I use the 5g water carriers, Aqua lifter pump and JBJ ATO.
