I have a 75 gallon reef tank with a blood red fire shrimp in it. Would it be ok for me to add a cleaner shrimp to the tank?
Thanks!

I have 2 blood, 2 cleaner and 3 peppermints and they all get along great.
I just wouldn't add a coral banded shrimp.

I have 2 blood and 2 cleaner. Each pair stays away from the other.

I had them together for two years and never had a problem.

Here's my story:
I had once established cleaner and added a pair of bloods. Cleaner was gone the next morning. I added two more cleaners, they stayed in the upper corner of the tank, died after a few weeks. My bloods were always out in the open and displayed aggressive behavior when feeding, and towards small fish (chased mandarin and goby).
I have never heard any one else have a similar experience.

so will a pair of the same species of shrimp pair up together? cleaner-cleaner or blood-blood.
