happened to me. Lights started strobing and then the ballast and power supply blew. It sucks I'm waiting for my new ballasts and power supply to arrive now. I had to spend 50 bucks.....

Mine was next to my 16 month old little girls crib if I had not been in there and she was in her crib she could have died!

nope I didn't bother contacting them. My animals are on the line with no lights, I don't have time to fight with them. So I upgraded, lol.

My lights were strobing, I unplugged it and inspected the ballast and power supply. didn't see anything obviously wrong, I figured I would replace the ballast when I did my planned upgrade. Plugged it back in, it fizzled and popped and shot out some nasty smelling smoke. I knew it was fried then. Thats about it.

I wish you the very best of luck, but you do not have a sound legal reason to base your claim in my opinion. At most, you should have been without lights for 24 hours. You are fighting a very large uphill battle.

Best of luck.

How do you figure 24 hours? It took me three weeks to get new canopy and it started a fire up my wall.......I am a paralegal and in this state we have laws to protect us. I just need to prove it did nto only happen to me!

You never mentioned a fire!! That changes things!!

I would tell the company whether it happened to you or 100 people they are responsible - responsibility is not based on numbers affected, only legal responsibility. I would have a lawyer in your office make a call for you.

We already have but they want to know if it is a defect or just a single occurance........
