Josh what ballast you using?

I see you have ushio 14k, what ballast.. I like the pic's :D
I removed my VHO's last night, and installed one 175w instead..
I have a ushio bulb in it but not sure what kelvin..

Thats just standard mag. cap and core correct? I belive I am going to get one 175 14k and 2 400w 14k... from premium aquatics today... but need to order before 2pm.

Umm . . . I don't know.

I have intentions of adding T5 actinics eventually (2 x 54W), I'm not getting as much fluorescence as I'd like. But overall, the Ushio 14k has treated me well so far. It's very white, without any discernible yellow or blue (to my eye).

On your pic's of the tri color, I swear I see small amout of blue on rockwork. But everyones eye is different ;)

The pictures are pretty faithful to real life.

I posted some pictures in the RRC picture thread, compare mine to other tanks and you'll see what I mean by the lack of blue.

Hey Charlie 142 for the 14k vs. 128 for the 20k XM assuming you're using a standard M59 ballast (per Sanjay's site).
