I want to use one of these on my fuge that will be setup in the next day or so. Is this ok? What light would you recommend for it? Or should I take it back and get something else?

that's the light I and many others use. just pickup a compact florecent bulb in the 5000k temp range and you're set. try to keep it as close to 5100k as possible. mine is 5500k and my chaeto and calerpa grow like crazy. my bulb is 90 watts but only consumes something like 23 watts.

Melev suggests this bulb: 1P381651

It seems like it has a lower Kelvin rating than the HD bulb above. But that one looks good, too.
