The wife and I are heading to Disney the end of the month and I was looking for a good reliable shop to check out for a skimmer to bring home. It makes sence especially with the Canadian dollar being as strong as it is it makes it much cheaper for us to get one down there than up here. I have seen a coralife I think it was for 109 at petsmart in London but I was hoping to find one there for a little better price.

Just found that and another thread about shops in Orlando thanks for the heads up much appreciated. On a side note what are the average prices you have seen on skimmers in the area? It is going into a small 31 gallon system. I can pick up a small skimmer here for around 110 bucks Canadian.

All depends on what you are looking for, is there a specific model you're looking at?

I usually end up ordering most of my dry goods, but I know there are several stores in the area with fairly good prices.

Ya just a small css65 or something along those lines.

I believe those are about 100 locally, but not totally sure.

Also, here's one that may be still for sale used around here: http://archive.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1249721 . Not sure if she's sold it yet, but may be worth a shot.

1 Canadian Dollar = 1.04419 US Dollar

Doesn't look like it would be much of a savings to me. I would suggest you just order online. Local store prices will be more than 4 cents higher than online for sure.
