Hey guys,

I just need to know, if I can just dip the sensor in the water or do I need to somehow insulate or shield it before I put it in. Please give me any ideas on how to shield if in fact I have to, thanks in advance, Jose....

Jose, I have one and the temp. sensor is covered in a black plastic. I just put it in the water and mine has been working for 2 years. Goodluck..
