Need Help Identifing

Was cleaning my tank and noticed this little guy hanging onto my power head. Does anyone know what it is and is it safe or should I get rid of it?

Doesn't look safe to me. Might have been a hitch hiker with something you bought in the past.

It looks like a squat lobster, dont know the species though. I dought it will cause any problems at all, usaully they are found on crinoids.

well it was stuck in my power head. So it wasn't fairng very well to begin with. I am sure that being caught and then put into a cup didn't help either.
