ive seen a few tank set-ups with foam used to cover the rear interior. what is safe to use ?

so i can use normal houshold insulation foam ? does this not harm the tank ? do i just let it go hard then fill the tank with freshwater several times ? and how does everyone get theres black ? or is it just different stuff ?

I dunno if normal foam is "ok" to use... infact i wouldn't use normal stuff unless someone showed me a specific product they've used in the past.
i did go to the pond section of home depot and they had some foam stuff - fish safe.
someone messaged me on RC with this.
"black expanding foam came from aquatic eco systems" - but they said it doesn't stick to glass and to use egg crate on the glass for the foam to stick to. GL!
