Live Sand Question

I just bought live sand for my AP12 tank. The been running for a month with LR.

Do I have to drain the liquid out from the live sand before adding it to my tank or do I add the live sand with the liquid to my tank???

Doesn't say on the bag which to do.

if you know some one who has a tank up and running, i would take the live sand back and ask your friend if you could take a little from him...then get regular sand and put some of his sand in and it will seed the rock and the new sand in a matter of weeks...but if you insist on useing the sand i would drain the bag. i never put and forgien water into my tank, just as a safty precaution
