I have a few hawaian feather dusters in my tank. On of them has not come out of his tube in 2 days (that I have seen). Is that common? Do they sometimes just take a couple of days to chill or should I start thinking the worst has happend?
All other worms are acting quite normal, and this one was acting normal as well prior to 2 days ago.

Give it a few days sometimes they drop the crown and takes a while to grow back and they can also leave the tube and make one somewhere else

it could be burrowing deeper. the first one i had shed its crown and didnt show for a few days, now its bigger than the second one i have. it took about a week and a half or so before i saw the crown growing back.
you could try target feeding the duster to help it along.
