another skimate question

ok so ive had my fish in qt for about a month now my tank is about 5 months old, and about two weeks ago i started getting alot less and almost no skimate now. My thinking is that i have fairly polished water and without my fish poop and uneaten food i have less to skim from the water , the skimmer is css 65 and before everyone tells me its just a crappy skimmer, i have had good results with it untill now and i think it does a very good job at skimming. thank you for any input

are there any livestock in tank? if not, then skimate will be minimal bc there are no nutriets to export

correct only livestock are corals and snails, i feed them rotifers and cyclops once to twice a week

how does the tank look? Are you having nutrient problems? If not, why go looking for trouble? ;)
