i have a 50g fuge that houses just some live rock xenia and cheato. lit by 2x96w lights and has about 300gph of water comming from the display. i am getting red slime (assuming its the lack of flow causing this becuase there is no red algea in my DT)in the fuge and tons of microbubbles trapped in the cheatoe causing it to stay floating on the surface and not tumbling. also the cheato i seems to have slowed in growth.how can i increase flow in the tank without increasing the amount of water comming from the DT to the fuge.

I dont think you have a flow problem. You want the bad algaes to grow in the fuge, if they werent they would be in the display. Your fuge looks healthy to me.
You could break up the chaeto and put it into a ball yourself. That will help it along.

How long has fuge been up and running?

about two months.
im just wondering because growth on my macro algae has slowed.
if i change out the actinic for another 10k, would that help?
also the microbubbles are everywhere. anyway to reduce those?

Whats the substrate?
And refug's go through this. Dont try to scrape or remove any algea. Adding a small powerhead will help. How the flow ?
And bubbles just attatch to algea and are fine and will disappear , after algea clears up just use a magnet for the front viewing area.
Whats the water source and is the main tank fine ?

replace the actinic with a 67k bulb, they are the best for plant growth, full spectrum

I bought the low whatt light that puts out 75 whatts but only uses like 20 whatts. And a metal shroud from home depot and macro grows like crazy. I never turn the light off and the bulb was rated as sunlight eqivalent.
