Give it some time. It doesnt look dead. Anemones inflate, and deflate all of the time. Is the mouth gaping? It looks like it is firmly attached. Just be patient!!

How long have you had it?

This is how they exspell waste and if they do it alot then they could be unhappy.
Do you feed him ?

yes i was told i needed to kinda force feed him. i just got it 2 days ago from The living sea aquarium, which is a really cool LFS in Chicago. i know i know about listening to the LFS guys.

he was cool 2 hours ago. what should i be feeding him and how?

Whene ever you add a new addition turn main lights off the first day. And no need to force feed , but some uncooked cocktail shrimp and break in to pieces. Lay on top on tenticles and he will grab. Dont feed to much to often as to help control growth. I feen mine 1 to 2 shrimp per week. Depends on size.

so you really dont think this thing is dead? huh ive tried to feed it muscle/crab/shrimp. so just put them in the tenticles he wil grab them up

i was worried cuz if it died they said to get it out of the tank right away. and the smell would be unbearable

Easiest way to tell a nem is dead is when its tubling in the current along the bottom of the tank... Not that I have any experience with that :rolleye1: If he is firmly attached, he is prob ok.

Stop trying to feed it, you are only stressing it out. Do not force feed it. The anemone will only reguritate the food.

Give it a day or two to get settled in. Then try to feed it some finely chopped food. Mussels, clams, krill, plankton, squid, or shrimp are some good ideas. Chop the food up really small so the anemone doesnt have to work to hard to eat it. Then feed it with a turkey baster. Try to feed it every few days, until its looking nice and healthy. Then I would feed it only once or twice a week. You could even start out by feeding it some mysis shrimp. Then give it meatier foods once it is regularly eating.

Mine walked right out of the light and hid behind a rock where i couldnt see it and stayed balled up for about a week, its a rbta BTW. And as of Thursday it has been right where i attempted to put it the first time, its about the size of a golfball at night after it expels its waste, then when the actinics are on its bubbly, after the mh kicks on it extends its foot about oh say 5 inches and all the tentacles get about 3-5in long and not bubbly. it's about the size of my fully outstretched hand while doing this! Just give it some time to rest, all the pics ive seen of dying anemones look HORRIBLE! I can almost promise you that it will look nice and inflated tomorrow.

is it common for 4 clowns to host in a anemone? its pretty cool. or do i need to get another one?

Once they get a little bigger you will start to have some territory issues. I would eventually either get another anemone on the opposite end of the tank, or put one pair of the clowns in a seperate tank. Even with another anemone you might eventually have some serious aggression issues between the the two pairs of clowns.
