Cyano? How old are your bulbs? How many hours of lighting? What type of flow do you have? How often and how much do you feed?

Moved to New to the Hobby for more views.

I agree that it's likely cyanobacteria. For the moment, siphoning out the slime will remove nutrients from the system. Also, reducing feeding might be useful.

The more common approaches to this sort of approach include better skimming, adding a phosphate reactor, or growing and harvesting a macroalga.

Maybe. It might take some time, or there might be a live rock issue, though.

Use a turkey baster and blow it off let the filter system to suck them up. abou the best you can do for now.

wow, it could be many things, change old bulbs, old bulbs produce light in a spectrum that promotes algae blooms.

try shortening your photoperiod by a couple hours a day, make sure you use RO water for topoffs (stay away from tap water and dechlorinator)

make sure there is enough flow in your tank, stay on top of water changes, and dont overfeed.

and if you dont use a skimmer, you might want to invest in one.

chemiclean or other cyano removers should only be used as a last resort. try correcting the cause of the algae first...
