I have a 55gtank with overflow. 10g sump. maxijet 1200 power head magdrive 5 return pump. I use only ro/di water and top offs. I still have a green slim and hair algea problem. Does any one know a step by step method in getting rid of this. I used distilled water before. Never really had a problem. The tan has been moved to a new house about 6 months ago. I tested my water. All the perameteres are right. Please help. I was going to use red slime remover. I really dont want to do that. I dont want to kill any off my corals or fish

You may just need more flow. I used to run a mag 7 return and 3 mj 1200s in my old 55.
