My tank is cloudy. All my perimeters are stable. what else could be causing the cloudiness. What are some solutions. I havent stirred the tank up at all. Nothing has changed.

I just noticed that the tank has never been very clear.

Run carbon for a week or so. Do you have a power filter? If so, run a microfilter for a week or two. BTW, are you using tap or RO?

I am using RO water and use a sump.

any resent addition to the tank? try the activated carbon and it should help. don't leave it for more than 2 week since carbon then to release what they absorb after a long period and the water will start to look yellow.

This might get some negative responses but sometimes these things take care of themselves. On rare occasions, I've also had my tank get a bit cloudy. I waited for 24 hrs and the tank cleared itself.
If you're not sure what's causing it to cloud, you might do more harm by trying to guess what to do. I'd let it alone for 24 hrs before going in.

My tank was like milk for a week. Tried several things and finally it was a simple soloution! Leave your lights off for 3days! If its still a bit cloudy after this, leave on for 2cycles and then turn off for another 3days. Don't do any water changes during this time either!
