ok so i bought my first sps a few days ago, and i have two questions first i have a frogspawn near it how close can they be without any danger of them fighting, and also does mine look healthy here are a few pics to see how close they are. these pics were taken under atinics, and the frogspawn when fully expanded is about 5-6 inches away from the monti cap thank you for looking and for any advice, and I just found a full light pic, so that shows about how close the two are

You want to keep the frog at least 6in away. And under they right conditions that cap will go very fast so you may want to move it .

what conditions will accelerate the caps growth? i have mh and t5 atinics my params are stable and correct alk 12-14 ph 8.1-8.3 no am no trate or trite no phos i feed rotifers and cyclopleeze spelled wrong i think temp stable at 78-79.5 cal 420-440 is this good enough for sps

14 alk is a bit high most people try to keep the alk in the 8-12 range. that is using german degrees of hardness (dkh)

I think you have enough room between them now, but in a few months you will probably have to move one of them.
