Well I know the standard 10k gives the most growth but is yellow 20ks are blue and the least growth rule of thumb but is there a list of par values for different bulbs and different kelvin readings? What it comes down to is I love the growth out of my ushios but I want something with less yellow color, doesn't have to be blue even a nice crip white would be good and frankly it would be worth it an extra couple bucks to love the color for a 9-12 months I think I can afford the what 10cents a day extra for some of the fancier bulbs. So what I'm looking for is a list of the bulbs at different kelvins and their par values preferably with a comparison between one 14ks color and anothers. I just turned on my 250W 14k hamilton, liking the color btw, and next to my JBJ 150W viper which I thought was a 14k, doubting myself thinking its a 12k now, the 250W has a much nicer crips color to it, while the viper which I used to think of as being a very nice crisp white, compare to my 10k ushios, is now just a tinge yellow.

Just wondering, have you tried running actinics with your 10k's? It might help get rid of the yellow. It works for me, but I have all PC lighting too. Using 10k and 65k along with dual actnincs.

I really like my Aquaconnect 14K 250 watt bulbs.

After reading those to articles I might have to give the AC14ks a go, although the AB13ks in that one study look pretty good for my blueline electonic ballasts, anyone have any experence with the aqualine buske bulbs?
