Today I added 170 lbs of live rock to my new 125. The rock is tonga fusion and was uncured. I spent several hours going over each piece cleaning as carefully as I could. But I tend to hurry things so I need your help. I think I will facilitate the cycle process by throwing in a piece of shrimp or so and then begin to monitor the chemistry (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and the ususal salinity and ph) My question is what should I now look for that will cause be total heartache?

I wouldnt bother with the shrimp. With that much uncured live rock your tank will cycle itself fine! Look out for apista anemone, hair algae, bubble algae, crabs ( easy enough to set a trap for). If you get a chanch look here when you see something new, and then you'll find out if it's good or bad.
