Your tank is still very young indeed. You might want to wait a little longer before adding anything like those. As for flame scallops, they do not really do that well in captivity. Maximum is a year, 3-5 months the normal. But a tank that young might lead to their demise faster as it is still pretty unstable at this point.

I don't mean to sound negative, but Im basing this off my experience and study of these bivalves.

any of the scallops are a bad choice they need to much food and since they can move they will go behind your tank and die and you will never know

Flame scallop requires tons of natural plankton food to fare well. The condition is almost impossible to achieve without in average system. Most of them just starve to death after a few months.

It doesn't seem that many of the filter feeding mulluscs do too well in captivity. I once tried keeping mussels in a temperate fowlr tank without much luck, about half of them died pretty quickly in the main tank.
They did fare alot better after I put them in my sump though.
I think the very high flow past them made sure they got a bit more food.
All I can suggest is regular spot feeding with a range of planktonic foods, and like your doing now as much research as you can!!
Good luck!

I must have been lucky. I had one for a little over two years in a 55 gal. Never fed it apparently I had enough dissolved organics to feed it.

I had one for about a year and a half in a 55. It just recently died off.
