skimmer suggestions for a 55g?

I've gotten to the point where my next addition will be a skimmer and I was looking at http://www.drsfostersmith.com/pic/article.cfm?dept_id=0&siteid=6&acatid=390&aid=434 as well as http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2002-06/fm/feature/index.php . I was wondering what your first choice would be for a hang on skimmer. I'm looking to get the best bang for my buck. Thanks.

thanks for all the info. I went ahead and purchased a clear container with holes in it and placed it right in the spot my previous marroon was hosting (the magnet)..lol at first he ...or she?? started to build its nest opposite of the tank.last i checked it was next to the container looking at it. hopefully this works.

someone asked why did i want to pair them? just because i like marrons and my new marroon has distinct markings that look very odd...i will post a pick..thx again..btw that link waqs very helpful.

I had an AquaC Remora with skimmer box on my 40gal for 2 weeks. It started to work great until I took it down and bought a reef ready tank and sump. I have it listed on ebay right now. Great hang on skimmer but I don't need it anymore.
