Corner + Mag Float

I'm thinking about getting a corner aquarium for the office...
Anyone have experience using a mag float on the front glass of one of these...I figure the round shaping would make it difficult.

You might have to use the small mag float. It could take longer to clean.

What type of Anthais do you have in your 55? I'd like to do 2 or 3 in my 70 gallon but people keep talking me out of it.

You will need to get in there and do the front glass by hand. The mag won't pass over the entire glass.

I have a 92G Corner tank and it has never been an issue. Just be sure to get the thinner long mag cleaner, not the more square looking one.
I hold mine vertically and it cleans all the crud off the front of my tank perfectly.

hey...I graduated from IU.....a long long long time ago. Cool town.

Using a mag float on a corner tank isn't too hard with a reasonable/typical radius...you'll always have contact at the edges of the brush.

Yeah GO HOOSIERS--
Just graduated from there in May...so now I can get the tank out of the apartment and into the office so its out of the fiancee's hair!

The anthias were GREAT! I actually only have 2 clowns in my 55 now, but they lived a good couple of years with no problems. Why have people been talking you out of it?

Thanks for the help on the glass. Any of you have drilled corners?

I have a 92 corner also and never had a problem cleaning the front of it with the thin mag float.
