Found another critter...

This is what we see coming out of the rock when the lights are off then it dissapears back into the rock when the lights go back on in the day does anyone know or have a guess what it may be?

spaghetti worm? if it is, it's harmless.

Cirratulid or terebellid (spaghetti) worm, I'd guess. Good to have, if so.

Ok thanks guys it just seems to come out at night and when the lights go on it goes back into the hole in the rock.

So from the pictures it looks like hte tera worm so what do they eat are they friendly? I know it was posted they are good but I just want to be certain I am not subjecting my system to something damaging.

They eat leftover food and other detritus.

I was the same way when i started, and i still ask tones of questions. sometime i think that i am gettin gon peoples nerves. But everyone on RC are great and help out alot.
There is never a stupid question, because how are you going to learn unless someone tells you.
