please help ID

hey guys see these little things right in front of the hermit crab? i don't know what they, but so far i've seen like 7-8 of these all over the tank. they are embedded in the live rock and come out of a little white tube. anyone have any idea of what this is? is it harmful to the reef? if so how do i get rid of them? please help!!! thank you

they look like small feather dusters to me. harmless

Yep, Thats what they are.

weird cause they are in the live rock and also in this hermits shell

i have them all over my tank

ok well if they are harmless then i can just leave them be. do they get big or stay small like this?
