GE Smart Water Filter (In Fridge) - How far off the mark is this from RO/DI water?
In the abscence of a RO/DI unit can this water be used for a tank start up? (125 gallon)

For flood safety, I decided to ditch my current plan of two buckets below the tank (one draining into the other through Bulkheads) and use one 30 gallon plastice tub for a sump and insert about a 10-12 gallon bucket for the fuge that will overflow into the sump/skimmer.
About 180gph per hour will go directly to the fuge and 400gph will go directly to the sump/skimmer... (I have three overflows...1 is just a direct siphon into the sump, the other two utilize DIY internal overflow "boxes" mounted to the tip of the standpipe.
The fuge bucket is taller than it is wide (but shorter than the sump tub)...it is actually just a small plastic rectangle trash can.
Is this a big enough fuge for a 125 gallon tank?
Any recommendations on how high to pack the fuge, and what to put in there beside a chunk of live rock and algea?
How deep should I send the overflow water into the fuge (surface - bottom)?
