metal halides and supplementation

Hi I am planning on getting 3 400 watt 14k MHs for my tank. Do I need the flourescent supplementation? The lights look very blue already. Suggestions?

you don't need them, they are just good for dusk dawn effect but if you like the color already then i wouldn't add them.
