Are these things any good? I was thinking about ordering some for my tank. Im looking to increase the number of pods and podlike creatures....to feed my mandarin.

Dont worry the mandarin is doing very well...he eats mysis, baby brine, and pods I does the tank with.

they are one of the best foods for your tank-- part of the idea of a refugium is to create a place for them to breed and maintain their populations. If you buy them it's a good idea to try to create some sort of place for them to live like a refugium or rock pile in the tank. Otherwise, it's like giving your fish a $20 meal that lasts 5 seconds.

I dont agree, I tried using reefbugs and I have seen no normal feeding habits of my zoo's xenia's frogspawn or monti, i do have alot of pods but then again i had alot of pods before, not i just use rotifers and clcyopleeze( spelled wrong) i have noticed better results with that over reefbugs
