Hello all,

I have had a clown trigger for about a month and a half. He is about 2.5 inches or so, and is doing well so far. He eats everything and behave perfectly so far...but recently he looks fuzzy. What i mean by that is where his black was between his yellow and white circles is turning white. Almost like a fungus. He was very vibrant black when I got him and now it seems like his black is fading into white fuzz.

Here is a pic.

I know its not really clear, but he was really black black, and now its kinda turning all white.

Any advice.

Thanks

I haven't done anything out of the ordinary. He is still eating great. I have 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, and .15 nitrates

The flow is about 12x turnover. He looks likes a fuzz is taking over his black.

I mean if you look at the picture his stomach is really big and he is the first one to come to the top of the tank when I come near so I know he still has a great appetite.

What's the animal being fed?

Hmm. Hard to say. I might try some frozen Formula 1 to be a bit more inclusive, but that's a nice list. Could be a disease, maybe an internal parasite. If that's the case, I'd try some medicated food (in a hospital tank) or a dip. Or it might just be normal coloration change. You could ask in the fish forum.
