It's a JBJ 28g Nano cube HQI. Had it setup for about 4 days now. This is all I could create with my rocks. What do you think? Any idea's?

Also what about the placement of the pump returns? How should I place them? That is the Koralia 2

I like it, but it doesn't really matter what we think does it? We don't have to live with it, do YOU like it?

I agree with waxxie. It is pretty hard to tell from the pics, the lighting is a bit dark.

The cave does look nice in the last picture, but you may be better served by trying to open things up a bit more. Just my opinion though. It is far from stupid though!

take a pic with the lights off in the tank, and the flash on in the camera, see if you get more natural looking pic.

I think it looks good, Not much more you could do with a tank of that size

just make sure that the water is flowing thru it, not being forced thru it. i love it tho. i actually wanted my tank like that in my 20L but couldnt find the right pieces to fit for me

I will take a picture with the lights off in a few minutes since they shut off.

Well from where the 2 return nozzles are, and the Koralia 2 is faced, is that good enough?

you should get (2) nano koralia's :c). But that should be plenty of flow.

I moved the back rocks a little bit apart so its open a bit.

I like the rock but the Koralia seems like a bit much in there :)

How come?

266gpg + 266gph + 600gph = 1132gph

when doing rock work you also gotta think about what corals if any your goin to do in there and how they're gonna look on the rock work. i like it though

Good start. You'll be surprised how different it will look once it settles and you add corals...they tend to come with their own rocks, so it's a good idea to give yourself some "room to grow."

^ Ah! I never even thought about that...So you just place the new rock with coral on it wherever best suits it?

that's always the dilemma-- where a coral will be happy vs. where it will fit.

I now spend as much time looking at the shape of the rock a coral is attached to as much as the coral itself...lol

I really like it!!! If your not happy with it just keep moving it around until you are!! What are you planning on keeping in the tank?

Thanks! I messed around with it for about 2 hours, after that my hands started getting tired and my skin was dry haha.

I don't have a clue really what to keep in it as this is my 1st tank. Maybe a pair of clowns from Rod's Reef since I only live about 20 minutes from his store.

the nano koralia is only 240gph, it would be perfect in place of the #2 (not to mention it is tiny compared!). Looking good, much easier to see in whatever lighting you took that picture in.

tomorrow night if i remember (when i get home from being out of town) i will take a pic of the nano and #2 side by side :c)

The #2 is pushing too much water?? Or is it a purely aesthetic thing from the pump being smaller?
