So I was loading the U-Haul, and there was a guy standing right across the street watching. Just hanging out there and would only look away when I looked at him. I went inside, got the camera, and took a picture of him. He came over and asked if I took his picture. I said "Yep." He said (in a middle eastern accent) I'm in the Army. I said I don't care, you're suspicious. He told me to delete the picture, I said "No. You're on a public street." He walked away and came back with a camera and took MY picture.

Ah, back to moving.

He even offered me his cell phone to talk to whoever it was he was talking to. I said I don't need to talk to anyone, and he held the phone up to my ear. I just looked at him, so he took it away and said to the phone, "He doesn't want to talk to you." Weird.

Another question - Would you be surprised if someone took your picture while you're standing across the street watching them?

Near an army base?
I'd hand that pix to the local C.O. with explanation.

I was expecting to see him again, but he didn't come back. After today, the only thing left in this house will be the tank (hopefully), so I'm not worried about it.
