Ive had my tank up for several weeks and just added my live rock 3 days ago. When i added the rock I rinsed it in a bucket of saltwater before adding it to the tank for a quick cleaning but I did now want to scrub the rock too hard as it is suppose to be "fully cured". There is a fair amount of coroline algae on the rocks and i didnt wat to remove it all. However the die off is more visible in the tank that out of the tank. Do you suggest I remove the rock and give it a ruff cleaning or wait a bit longer ? Thanks in advance

Leave it alone and let your tank cycle. Whatever is on the live rock now that will not be there eventually anyway will be removed by life forms in your tank. There is no reason to clean anything off of your cured live rock, unless you see a rusted nail or old soda can :)

I agree, I wouldn't mess with it.

Thanks for the replies. I didnt think cleaning it would be the right choice but it was great to get some input on it. - Thanks
