Birdsnest growth

This birdsnest I bought at RAP has some nice growth going on! I'd say 50% bigger.

Here it is after RAP:

It's still really small. Small + 50% is still small : )

haha yea some of those frags were really 'frags' like 1/2"

your doin a good job at least from what i can see...it looks better in the 2nd pict

This one was actually a reasonable size when I got it. I'd say 1" diameter or a little less. It was $25, more than I spent on other frags. I am quite satisfied!

darn, ppl always have good growth on birdsnest, but believe it or not, i have a 1" frag , and it's been 4 months, i see NO GROWTH at all while all my other corals are growing pretty good. However the 1" birdsnest i have is very healthy, but just no growth at all...

Andy: if that's the frag I gave you it should be taking off anytime now. Same thing happened to me. I had that thing for a year & it did nothing until finally decided to settle in & spurt some growth.

And yes, the neon green polyp BN's grow fast! I got a frag from Yinger about 6 months(?) ago & it's probably 3 times the size now, and growing...

just give it some time and let it settle. Once they get acclimated, you'll be fragging it every other week ;)
