I currently have a 75g tank. I have GBTA and i have 2 maxijet sureflow 1600's shooting from each corner towards the middle of the tank hitting the glass and i have a regular maxi jet 1200 shooting back behind the rocks and i have a mag 9.5 as a return is this to much or not enough flow for my tank??

That sounds like enough. Are you having any problems with it?

add your total flow up---and shoot for 20 times tank turn over per hour. (there is a flow calculator on the main page--left sidebar)

I have a combined total of 40x tank turn over. This is a general way to figure out how much flow you need (sort of like the wpg rule for lights). What is also important is the placement.

i guess I should have added 20 times for lps and 40 times for sps :)

Is there a suggested turnover rate for Anemone's?

no there isnt but if you look at pictures of the anemone in the wild see what corals grow around it, then set up the tank like you would for the corals, since more is known on corals care as far as lighting and flow rates go. make since?!

these figures are pretty low i had a 85x turnover on my old haddoni carpet tank!! even though i could of gotten away with half that.

it would be helpful if you can post a picture of your tank and powerhead setup.

I would aim the powerheads directly at each other or place them on the back wall facing the front glass so the flow hits the glass and spreads out. That's jmo.
