well i am thinking of going with 2 72" constellation series hoods
for my tank its 72x48x25 maybe three of them if it will fit. or go with 3 ic 660s and run 12 80w bulbs on ic slrs the problem i have is the tank is in wall and my gd garage door is in the way. so i can not really hang anything from the ceiling. the obvious choice is to go with the 80w bulbs cost on bulb replacement will be a lot less but will that be enough light? sps dominated reef. plus the constellation hoods are really clean looking. but are they good?
and will 2 of those be enough light? that's 28 39w bulbs the hoods are only 14" wide i have about 40" of tank i can cover if i go the ic route i will use uni strut with wheels to move the unit in and out. anyway so any input from u t5 gurus would be really helpful... thanks scott

The constellation are nice looking but since your tank is in the wall it will not be seen much. The Icecap 660 will overdrive the bulbs to about 100watts and with a max depth of 25" you can keep just about any coral or clam on the sand bed. I have 2 ic 660 for my new 75g. I purchased a new MH unit and sold it to go with T5. For me i will only use T5 overdriven with IC or MH with good reflectors.

i have been really leaning towards the ic 660s as well. will have to rig up something to hold the lights because i cn not hang them..
